Overcoming faith

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?


As I believe Jesus is God, and all He claims to be, I then am born again. After all, only God saves. I am on the victorious side, because Jesus is victorious. I am now an overcomer, something only Jesus can impart. My faith carries great reward. Not some massive physical accomplishment, not some religious notch, but simple faith in Jesus Christ. None of His will be snatched out of His hands.
