Peace of Jerusalem

Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:

“May they prosper who love you."

Jerusalem has a long past. Its a glorious city with an amazing future. It was redeemed. It once was a very wicked city. God did not rehabilitate it, He renewed it. Its checkered past is not even a forethought anymore. Its a city attacked by the enemy throughout history. We are to pray for its inhabitants, the Jewish people, all who dwell there within its walls. Why? The only One who can ever bring Peace, Jesus will one day reign in Jerusalem. Oh what peace the world will experience. Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be sons of God. Those who seek its peace, will not doubt be blessed.
