Please, dont go

Jeremiah 42:19 The Lord has said concerning you, O remnant of Judah, ‘Do not go to Egypt!

A summary: Judah has finally been taken captive to babylon. There was a remnant left behind who feared they also would die if they stayed. They figured their safety was in Egypt. Beneath the surface, their hearts were wholly given over to the queen of heaven and all the Egyptians gods. God says, dont go to Egypt. Brake those ties, dont trust in anything but the Lord. I get this message loud and clear. The world has nothing for me. I can only trust the Lord. He is always faithful and true. I dont want to go to Egypt.
