Power to do His commandments

1 John 3:24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.


This trips up some. Those who keep His commandments. What are they? The 10, or the 600 plus? Nope, the two! Love the LORD with all of your heart, mind, soul, & strength. And loving your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said all the law hinges upon these. Love fulfills the law. We fail the law because we fail to walk in Christ love. The Holy Spirit enables us to walk in His love. We cant blame our hate on anybody or anything, we must take it to the cross, give it over to Jesus. Only by a Spirit led life, can one walk in this love (agapa).
