Pride or humility

Daniel has just given King Belshazzar an amazing testimony about his grandfather Nebuchadnezzar. Pride is destructive in that it puts us in the place of God. Great news, Nebuchadnezzar learned humility and became a believer in the Most High God. Belshazzar, you failed to apply the humility you saw and learned. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. The Lord looks for those who are humble. He can humble man but desires us to choose humility. The way up is down. Greatness is not being served but serving others. Lord, I still have way too much pride! Please continue to soften my heart and keep it tender.
