Proclaiming Christ' Death

1 Corinthians 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

Communion is so much more than just a cracker & grape juice. To us as beleivers in Christ, it sparks rememberance of Jesus' sacrifice, self examination, and the purpose of why Jesus gave His life, for our gain. Another importantant factor is this, we publicly proclaim the event of Christ' death everytime we do it. Never to be passed up and forgotten. This event is why we stand today.
