Promise fulfilled

Genesis 22:13 Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.”


Just when Abraham was ready to offer up his only son, the LORD stops him. God already had a sacrifice and it was a good thing for both Abraham & Isaac, that Abraham listened to Gods voice. The ultimate fulfillment of this prophecy is in Jesus. The LORD will provide on the mount of the LORD. Mount Moriah, same spot that Jesus was offered up on a cross. Gods word is wonderfully rich and always right on target. In this unstable world, hold to Gods stable word.
