Rapture & 2nd Coming?

2 Thessalonians 2:2 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

This is how the majority of the church sees end times events. All lumped together, and with lots of confusion. In some cases, we are told, we cant understand books such as Revelation. This is utter ignorance. I was confused as they years ago, but then I realized, all these events we read of in the bible are TRUE, but these are distinctly different events. And the bible events all made sense, at least more sense and all the nonsense ended. This question by Paul covers 2 distinct events, the 2nd coming of Jesus, when He returns with His saints, and the Rapture, when Jesus comes for His saints. Both book ends of the Great Tribulation, when God will pour out His wrath on a Christ rejecting world. This church was shaken from what Paul taught them, their blessed hope. The Lord is coming for you and He will return with you.
