Satans same old playbook

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.


This is what the world apart from the LORD has to offer. These are satans tools to distract men and pull them away from God. Jesus allowed Himself to be fully tempted by what we are tempted by, but didnt sin. He gave us a path to victory thru His example. We will look more closely into this in Matthews gospel. Lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life. Exactly what Adam & Eve faced and failed. We have the answer sheet on how to respond, so why should we fail any longer? Thankfully we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus, who intercedes for us and washes our sin away when we fail.
