Gods comforting word to Ebed Melech, Zedekiahs servant! He didnt seek to save his life as he stood up for Jeremiah, here he got it abundantly. I have seen much travesty among men who cower to living after Christ due to those worldly men around them. They seek to salvage what life they have now but fail to realize the eternal cost. I knew, from day one, Im no longer my own and the life I now have is in Christ. Im discovering daily what life in Christ is all about. I want to finish this journey! Ebed prized his life by his actions of walking in obedience unto God. I prize my life the same way! Its only in Jesus, that I have life. I was a dead man walking!
