Seeking life from dead things?

Luke 24:5b Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen!


As the story went, these ladies come to the tomb, see these two angels, the door rolled open. Why are you seeking Jesus in this grave. He is alive as He said He would be. But here gifted to us is a truth we all could learn now, why seek life from dead things? The places and things Jesus has no part of or is not at, the dead places of this world, He will never be found in. Those seeking comfort from booze in a bar wont find life. Many enjoy watching horror movies, they are dead things. Jesus isnt found there. We arent to be going to dead places expecting a vibrant living life. Jesus isnt dead, He's alive! Look up and look unto Jesus, our redeemer lives. There was a day to mourn, but today is now a day to rejoice in the Lord. Jesus is alive!
