shadows or reality?

Colossians 2:16–17 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.


Dont allow anyone to judge you unto condemnation. As far as religious ritualisms to please god, we that have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, we already please the Father by receiving the Son. Jesus, the substance, has radically changed our lives. We dont try to live out Gods will, we are living out His will. All those old testament laws and customs were shadows, types, but the substance is Christ . How strange it is to chase shadows!
