This was the same old playbook tactic satan offers mankind to sin. The lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. All sin will fall under one or all three of these criterea. God has revealed satans playbook, now we just need to be on alert. God isnt with holding any good thing from us, though it may appear so, as it did to Eve here.
