God is speaking throughout the world. So why do some hear and some do not? That is a deep subject but basically the answer is discovered right here. The Spirit of God entered him! He then was able to hear God speak clearly and caused him to stand. When God moves upon fallen man, desires for God begin to overwelm. Nothing else satisfies! He then sees his need for Christ and invites Him in. EVERYTHING changes at that point, even if seemingly nothing does outwardly. The old life just isnt the same. Oh the sweet fellowship we have together as Gods Spirit resides in us. The amazing golden nuggets of truth illuminates from Gods word. The strength He gives to stand up for the first time, never having to cower again to failures & sin. This passage means everthing to me! Without His Spirit, I am a vastly different person, this I know!
