Such grace

Matt 26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So he went out and wept bitterly.

This speaks volumes to me! Its not if, its when we fail! Peter failed big time yet he instantly remembered the LORDS word. And in this, led to godly sorrow. I find the biggest growth in my life, is not when I seemingly pass a test, but how I recover when I fail! Do I learn from it and use that to springboard me into a greater reliance upon the Spirit? The devil doesnt want a christian, who falls, to realize the limitless grace of the Savior! What Mary did, worship wise, truly amazing. Yet the end of chapter 26, what Peter responds to and recovers from, also amazing. Both are great examples to my christian walk. I bet Peter never wanted to feel like that again, I bet he leaned and trusted moreso upon the Holy Spirit. I know I have!
