The coming Messiah

Genesis 49:10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes;

And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.


The line of Judah was the royal line. All the kings from David until the captivity of babylon, from Judah. Shiloh is speaking of the messiah. Potential problem, the throne, rulership, self governing ability was ripped from them. Roman rule sealed this tomb shut! Many at the time of roman dominance even believed Gods word failed because of this promise in Genesis ending. Little did they realize, Shiloh was already growing up among them. Shiloh (Jesus) did come, as promised. Gods word, though always challenged, never fails! His word is always right.
