The line of Judah was the royal line. All the kings from David until the captivity of babylon, from Judah. Shiloh is speaking of the messiah. Potential problem, the throne, rulership, self governing ability was ripped from them. Roman rule sealed this tomb shut! Many at the time of roman dominance even believed Gods word failed because of this promise in Genesis ending. Little did they realize, Shiloh was already growing up among them.
