The LORD appears

Genesis 12:7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.

The LORD God appeared to Abram. This is getting real. There is no appearances by all the false idols he once worshipped. To have the LORD visit you, yeah! Then, He reveals how He will his Seed this land. Speaking of the Christ, though Abram would indeed have the land. Interestingly however, Israel really never possessed all the land God gave to them. Jesus will! After being in the presence of God, he worships. Its the only logical responsive act when the LORD shows up. May our lives be a living sacrifice unto God, which is our spiritual worship (reasonable service).
