The LORD is our only hope.

Psalm 3:1 A Psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.

2 Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah 3 But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

David really sums up how we feel when we are under spiritual attack. He brings it before the LORD. The enemy always appears bigger than they are. They can never be bigger than the LORD. They always want to seperate you from God because your only help is found in Him. What a lie to say there is no help for you in God. But You LORD are my defense, my best says ahead, the lifter of my countenance. There is never a shift in our circumstances greater than what the LORD does in us by a single word. What hope He injects into our despair. He allows us to look up, our best days are ahead.
