An old original commandment that seems new. Love. Love fulfills all the law. Before the laws, love. But here, John says, this commandment was given from their beginning of your faith. There was not a beginners lesson and then later, much later, the more sophisticated teaching is introduced. Thats how basic academics works. Nope, John began with love and stayed with love until the end. We do grow in the depths of His love. Its still Agape. I want to remain with my first true love and passion, Jesus.
