The wisdom of God
Mark 1:4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5 Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
John was called where? To preach to who? This makes zero sense according to conventional wisdom. Go to a heavily populated area! But the wilderness? This is Gods calling card. See, if it was humanly possible, God would not get the glory. Nope, follow me in this thought please, if it looks dead, impossible, over, well, rejoice because that is a perfect senerio for God to intervene. The more impossible, the better! Is there something in your life, dead or impossible to achieve? Wonderful, so long as it lines up with Gods word, your right where the Lord wants you so He will get the glory! Oh, the land we bought years ago for the church, also all Him, sits due to our inability to afford a structure built upon it currently. Perfect! We have been given clear direction from the Lord, He will build His church, in every sense of that verse! I dont worry about how or when. I dont seek to have begathons to raise money, as if Gods broke! I dont seek to put our church in debt! I simply trust in my Lord and wait for His provision, to complete His word! Ah, I can do that. Hearing Gods word is one thing, trusting Him to complete His word is the other part. Trust Him!
