To many chiefs, only 1 LORD.

Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

How did Jesus know this? So many chiefs, demanding we go in different directions. Everytime one quits or gets fired, here comes another set of orders. All bosses have a different and unique style. But none are ever equal to each other. Some you like, some not so much care for. Yet Jesus says make the boss of your life singular. Either you live for Jesus or you will die being enslaved to satan. Independent of a boss is not an option. I tried living the double life before Jesus radically changed me. I tried to do good and then I tried to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin. Both ended in a dumpster fire. It wasnt until the LORD called me to put my sole priority in Him, then this reality opened my eyes to all my confusion I was living. There is only One I now serve, and that willingly.
