true success

There is a great focus in this world to succeed. We are trained throughout life to strive for success. How is one successful? Even the church, as a whole, has fallen to this rat race. I only need to go as far as the bible to find out what God thinks makes a successful life. The church of Philadelphia, the LORD only has good to say about them, why? Rev. 3:8“I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

They had not trusted in their own abilities (strength), they kept His word before them, & lived a life bringing Him glory. Thats a successful life.
