Where is the LORD now?

Psalm 10:1 Why do You stand afar off, O LORD? Why do You hide in times of trouble?

This is real. I love that the bible records things as this. David felt the LORD wasnt getting involved enough or quick enough. He loved the LORD, he trusted Him yet he was still a man. He still had to exercise his faith daily. I have often, tried to hasten the LORD to act sooner, take out my enemies or have asked, why arent You answering me? I have discovered the long hard way, as Jonah, He dont consider my enemies His enemies necessarily. He desires all to be saved. There will be a time to execute His wrath upon this world, but now has not been that time yet. Thankfully because we wouldnt be part of His glorious kingdom if not for His love for sinful humanity. The LORD is not hiding & He isnt disengaged from reality. His will be done, so why am I, like David here, looking thru any other lense? Father forgive me for the many times I have called You to do my will and blame You for being disengaged from my problems.
