Where would God live

Acts 7:47 But Solomon built Him a house.

48 “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says:

49 ‘Heaven is My throne,

And earth is My footstool.

What house will you build for Me? says the Lord,

Or what is the place of My rest?

50 Has My hand not made all these things?

Davids son, Solomon, built the temlle that housed the Glory of God, in Jerusalem. God showed up there because He will always show up were His people gather to Him. These temples are tempral! What God really wants is us! We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, if we are born again. God asked, what house can you build me? He needs no retirement home, palace, or any earthly structure. He wants me, He desires you, friend! Jesus left heaven and tabernacled with us with human flesh. That tabernacle God instructed Moses to make was the closest structure men can make that depicts God. Everything about it spoke of Jesus! The inside, gold. Outside animal skins. One time, Jesus revealed His glory on the mountain. Im amazed how He was able to keep Himself from shining His glory all the time. The more we invite Him in, allow Him to reside within us, the more we will reflect Him in our lives. So what can I build Him? Nothing, He must build me! Unless the Lord build the house, he that builds, builds in vain
