Who is the restrainer?

2 Thessalonians 2:6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed,


Whatever the identity of the restrainer, he keeps the antichrist suppressed. I will cut straight to the only logical interpretation of who this could be. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit embodied in the church. We are very special and unique, a little peculiar even. But we are the salt of the earth. We are the light in this dark world because of Jesus. When the church is raptured, this world will be primed to accept the beast. Who will oppose him, if the body of Christ is gone? Why would they? With truth seekers taken away, it just leaves the deceived. Amazingly, God will still open eyes and hearts during that time. Live for Jesus now. The other option is to die for Jesus then, but I wouldnt count on that one. How amazing we get to live for Jesus!
