Who wants to be meek?

Matthew5:5 "Blessed are the meek,

For they shall inherit the earth."

Its interesting, evolution screams to us "survival of the fittest." Only the strong will survive. Why would I want to be weak? However, what does the Bible say? Meekness is not weakness, but rather strength under control. Jesus is the example of meekness. He has all the power at His word. If He told the atoms to split, they would, yet in His meekness, He was smitten and afflicted for us. The world is a bit mixed up on who will live another day Upon this earth. It fights and kills off people groups for their possessions. God has reserved His inheritance, to rule and reign with Him, for those who are meek.
