Why am I surprise

Jeremiah 32:17 Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.

I find these words refreshing, revealing and surprising. Refreshing since there are no greater words that can come out of our mouths than truth about the Lord! A blinded heart cant see God this way. Thank you Lord that You have revealed these simple truths. As we see & confess these new found truths, it reveals to us, we are enlightened by the Spirit of God. The surprise? Well, why do these truths of God still surprise us unless we still struggle with faith? I long for the day when the, always amazing works of God, are no longer surprising, but expecting and trusting because its the nature of Christ. Ive come a long way in my relationship with my Savior, yet, I have a long way to go for complete & total dependance upon Him. He loves me every step of the way.
