Why church is so important

Revelation 1:12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,

13 and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.

14 His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;

15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;

16 He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

John turned to see who was speaking, it was Jesus. This passage is amazingly the clearest passage throughout all the bible that describe Jesus' physical appearance. John here, has seen the glorified Christ. The fullness of Gods Spirit is also apparent. In His right hand, He held the 7 stars. He is in the midst of the 7 lampstands. The 7 stars are the angels (messengers), could be the pastors of the churches and the 7 lampstands are the churches. Notice, they are in His hand & He is in the midst of them. Jesus loves His church. He battles thru His church. He died for His church..He is glorified thru His church. His church is His bride. Not one person fully displays Christ, but His church as a whole, He is seen and glorified. You want to find Jesus, He is in the midst of the assembly of believers.
