Why does the night seem long?

Psalm 30:5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life;

Weeping may endure for a night,

But joy comes in the morning.

Our sorrows & pains always seemed magnified. Not to make light of them. We can make a mountain out of a mole hill. The darkness of night never seems to end. But daylight breaks forth! That sudden word from the Lord to pick us up and encourage us. To give us joy, even thru trials. For this light affliction is not worthy to compare with the Joy and promises of God and what He has in store for us. We all have our painful times, but they are only temporal, as we trust in the Lord. Truly, our best days are ahead of us.
