Why God?
Genesis 11:29 Then Abram and Nahor took wives: the name of Abram’s wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor’s wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran the father of Milcah and the father of Iscah.
30 But Sarai was barren; she had no children.
Lots of unexplainable questions here. First off, Abram loves and takes Sarai. Problem, Sarai cannot have children. I cant imagine what this may feel like for a woman. Especially in this day, under this culture. Its not her fault but that doesnt mean she doesnt battle all the hurtful thoughts. It would appear, God has forgotten her, or she isnt blessed, like the "other" women. Truth is, Sarai would be such a blessing and bare Isaac, the line to the messiah. Wow! God had greater plans for her than she had ever dreamed. He turns the barren desert into fruitful trees. Her greatest hurt turned into her greatest legacy. Are you barren in this world? Look up, for He is the only One able to bring fruit in your life.
