World wide flood

Genesis 7:11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

12 And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.

This is it! The world wide flood is happening. There are major upheavals upon the earth. This is like nothing the earth has went thru since it was void, and God formed it. The fountains of the deep was broken open. From the ground, water rose. Also, the water layer above the earth, released and fell for 40 days and nights. This was not localized as the doubters suggest. Every continent and many people groups have some form of a great flood event recorded. And while all this was chaotic, out around them, Noah & his family remained safe and dry in the ark. I imagine, many of the mockers began to make their way to the ark, but the waters rose to fast. The grand canyon was carved out due to this flood. Its huge, I flew over it and seemed to last for ever. People have discovered sea fossils on mountain tops. How did they get there? The flood waters covered the mountains.
