Your never to old or young to talk to God
Genesis 17:1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.
2 “And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”
3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying:
99 yrs young and the LORD appears to Abram. The exhortation here is for Abram to walk with Him. The LORD will do all these wonderful promises but he had to accept them. He had to choose to be chosen. He must exercise his will for the LORD. All Abram could do was fall on his face in worship as God spoke. So very real, personally, when I hear the LORD, Im just amazed He speaks to little ol me. He reveals such amazingly, and sometimes, frightening things, not to be fearful, but to reveal just a little bit of His world & what He sees. Most dont care for those kind of things so they will never see. However, for those who would like to know the LORD deeper, He reveals them, in His timing. There is an eternity of things we can learn of God and still not exhaust all His truths.
