Your Faith has made you well

Matthew 9:20 And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. 21 For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” 22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

Here, a woman ostracized from society due to her medical issue. This world can be so cruel. 12 years she dealt with this issue in her life. How much life with friends & family did she miss in 12 years? And no relief in sight. Then all the events and gatherings she could not attend. Such hurt and hopelessness. I cant imagine the loneliness she felt. I'm sure she prayed. I'm sure she longed for the day her life would change. For 12 years, it just got worse. What a strong woman to not give up. What great faith she had to approach a newly famous Man named Jesus! What did she have to lose but everything to gain. If we approached Jesus with this same intensity, we would all be better off. Jesus honored her faith. Jesus desired to heal her that day and went across her path purposely yet she also activated her faith in Jesus. Jesus said, your faith has made you well. Her faith in who Jesus is & what He is able to do.
