The World Right Side Up

Acts 17:5 But the Jews who were not persuaded, becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar and attacked the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 6 But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.

The unbelieving Jewish religious leaders stir up trouble against the disciples due to envy.  Why?  Because they became found out as frauds and dead in faith, unlike the disciples, proclaiming a living Savior.  A life Changed powerfully by the gospel.  When you are truly amazed by the idea God even wants to use you, you really don't have time to envy anyone.  Its when you lose that and refuse to walk in humility toward the LORD, and ask Him to use you again, will envy explode in that environment.  I know lots of amazing Christians, powerful ministries to hurting people, but I truly am not envious of them, or wish them hurt.  I am content in all God has graciously given me and taught me through these wonderful years.  I know, God has blessed me uniquely and seek to use my gifts for His glory.
They accuse the disciples of "turning this world upside down" but the world is already upside down.  Gods word and love rights the ship!  The world, for the first time, makes sense.  Because of Jesus, we now have hope and can dream again.  What a badge of honor, to turn this world right side up.  LORD, please allow me to be part of this mission.  Please allow my life to be a fruitful tree that offers the lost hope.

YES and AMEN! Having Father's view of His creation, of the people He gave the sacrifice of His only beloved Son changes everything and everyone we see. Thank you for exemplifying this in your teaching and your life, Jon.
