Worshiping the LORD

Matthew 9:18 While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” 19 So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples.

This leader comes to Jesus & worships Jesus. He cry's in desperation for his daughter, who had passed away. This account is full of faith. His daughter is dead, but he believes Jesus can raise her from the dead, not right after her death, but a good time later. Most people would be making plans to bury their loved ones. This father refused to let go, and has heard of a Man who has power over death and offers life. LORD, all You have to do is come & lay hands upon her & she will come back to life. This is such a great account in all the Bible. Do you think this man believed Jesus had resurrection power? I would love to know his story while Jesus lay in the garden tomb. I think he had no doubt Jesus would rise from the dead or maybe at least that the story wasn't over. What else would you believe after Jesus would raise his daughter from death. What faith! What a devotion & heart filled worship unto Jesus Christ! Yes, I desire to walk in this kind of faith unto my LORD. Jesus, in You alone gives life.
