Has Jesus Been Invited In Your Marriage?
John 2:1 On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.
Please don't take offense to this, but a very important question for married folks as well as those who will get married one day. Has Jesus been invited into your marriage celebration? I believe too many who even refer to themselves as Christians have not taken the time or efert to include Jesus. Sounds crazy huh? A marriage looks vastly different when Jesus is in the center of it. Since God made marriage, He is the only One who knows how to keep a marriage healthy. Oh, there are countless books on the subject that offer some form of help aid yet cant keep two broken people together. The basic simplicity of inviting Jesus to your marriage and keeping Him there is what will make it last. Also, we may invite Jesus into our marriage but the real key is have we answered the invitation to be part of His marriage?

The Lord desires to be invited into every area of our daily lives, from the biggest and most important times to the mundane and insignificant daily details. We are unwise when we block off sections of our lives thinking we have that conquered on our own. When He is truly in the center of marriage that marriage will thrive, even when life is difficult and challenging. I am eternally grateful that the God of all creation loves and cares for us in this ever present way.
Amen! Jesus is the "secret" to a healthy, life long marriage. It doesn't mean struggles or even issues won't happen. But with a sure strong foundation in Christ, you make it through those things, even stronger afterwards.
