Work in Progress

John 14:2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

This blows my mind.  God, who made the universe and all we know to be in six days, seems to according to this text, still be at work on our resurrected bodies.  There is no need for a physical mansion, He is talking about our bodies here.  Wow!  To think of the design and thought our LORD has been putting into this project for us?  He obviously went back to heaven 2000 yrs ago and still preparing a place for us.  My mind cant fathom this project.  The longest running project known to man was the great wall of china.  It spanned over many dynasties to 2000 years as well.  Its not even a functional structure and only serves as a symbolic protection.  Which would I rather take part in?
Anything God does is perfect and I want.  When He says its time, He will come back for us and sometime soon after we will get this new body.  I cant wait.

This is a beautiful picture of the many promises given to the faithful, the one who is an overcomer.

n

n

nIn Revelation chapters two and three, there are seven blessings that the person who remains faithful unto the end will receive.

n

nThe church of Ephesus:

n““He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’”

n‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

n

nThe church of Smyrna:

n ““He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” ’”

n‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

n

nThe church of Pergamos:

n“And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations— ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father; “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’”

n‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2‬:‭26‬-‭27‬, ‭29‬ ‭

n

nThe church of Sardis:

n“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’”

n‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

n

nThe church of Philadelphia:

n“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’”

n‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

n

nThe church of Laiodeca:

n“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’ ””

n‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭

n

nThis is the Joy that is given to us who have heard the testimony of Jesus, and have placed our trust and faith in Him who has overcome the world, Jesus our Christ
