Oh To See Jesus
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.
All the end time prophecy stuff is found in the Bible book of Revelation. However, this letter is so much more than prophecy, its a personal revealing of God through the Person of Jesus Christ. John begins with this statement, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ." One can gain and study all the bible and yet fail to discover Whom the bible is all about. They can form theologies and religious groups all while never seeing the Christ in a personal way. I never want this to be in my life. I seek, knock, ask for Gods Spirit daily to discover more of my wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ. The Spirit reveals Him and this letter describes Him better than any other, or as well as any other. Until we see Him face to face one day, Revelation is the best we have. Jesus is glorified and victorious. He isnt weak and still on a cross or laying in a tomb. He conquered death and has pathed the way for us to conquer death. There are not many revelations of Christ, just One! This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
