God, Can You Hurry?

Micah 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.”

God gave Micah this prophecy some 700-800 before the birth of Christ. Gods time frame and ours are vastly different. God is outside of time whereas we are regulated by it. Now, the point I must make here is simple. Whether you are trusting & waiting on Gods promise for 5 seconds or 4000 years, the key is to keep trusting in the One who gave it. Dont allow doubt to set in because of a change of circumstances, there often will be many. The God who cannot lie will always bring His word to pass. I can honestly tell you that though I like the fact that Gods word will always come to pass, I do not like that He allows me to have to prove my faith and trust in that same very word. I just want Him to do it and do it fast before I get wobbly in the knees. He has burnt out so much faulty theology in me and I have been made better for it. Thank You LORD for always being faithful to Your wonderful word even when I fail to be.
