How do You Seek Jesus?
Luke 9:9 And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.
Herod seeks out Jesus out of perplexity. Herod, like many today, are not seeking Jesus from humility and desiring of truth but to make their guilty conscience feel better. Jesus would later call him a fox and never make this encounter until the day of Jesus' death.
If you seek Him, you will find Him. However, you must have a willing humble heart. But we see Jesus! He is very close, one call away in fact. Jesus often was known to go off of the beaten path in order to encounter a seeker of truth.
If you seek Jesus with a humble heart, you will find Him. He will actually find you.
