The LORD Speaks
Acts 18:9 Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; 10 for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.”
God speaks to Paul in a night vision. Most of my most clearly spoken words from God happened at night, while resting, free of distractions. I often get out of bed, to find some paper and a pen or else it will be gone by the morning. Maybe because of the quietness of the night. Yet, I love the night hours and my communication with Him. On several occasions, I have gotten up in the Wii hours of the morning and wrote out a sermon or recorded something God was speaking.
Paul, don't fear! Speak and don't keep quite. The Lord is with you. None will harm you.
I love this about our LORD! He cares about the fine details, concerns we have in life. He made a special visit just for Paul. No matter how tired I may be, I will always make myself available to hear my LORD speak.
