Difficult Callings are still Callings

Acts 20:22 And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, 23 except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me. 24 but none of these things move me, nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the LORD Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Amen!  God will always confirm His calling to us!  Dont expect it to be easy!  Yet it is the highest calling you will ever have.  You will be the most satisfied.  Paul knew his days would be short and difficult now but glory awaits!  These light afflictions are not to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed.  If you seek to save your life, you will lose it!  But if you lose your life for Christ sake, you will find it.  Im set to finish my race in joy, however long I have this side of eternity and I know there is a crown of righteousness ready for me.  To hear those words, good and faithful servant, enter you in the joy of your LORD!  Oh, I just cant wait.  And I want many others to hear these words as well.

Forgetting those things which are behind, we keep our eyes on the Prize. There is no one or anything that will ever eclipse the joy of dwelling in the Lord in this life or eternity.
