A whole Bible makes a Whole Christian
Acts 20:25 “And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more. 26 Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
We need the whole Bible to make us whole Christians in order to reach out whole world! Paul never held back in teaching all of Gods word. We would be wise to follow his example. There is so many topical preaching, which I don't disagree with, it has a time. But if that's the whole diet, those flocks will die! Life brings on more than a preacher can experience in his own lifetime, in which he will talk about. The preacher must go out of his comfort zones and seek the LORD for each and every verse in the word of God. I've seen whole churches and then I've also seen churches full of holes. There are tons of wisdom and wealth in Gods word that never get to the pulpits due to lack of understandings upon preachers parts. Paul was a whole word proclaimer and I have found this to be the only true way of ever saying that "I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God." This takes time and is one of the greatest accomplishments known to man to take the whole church through the whole Bible. As a Christian, I challenge you to go through the whole Bible, in a year preferably, but not necessarily, and pray every time you read. Allow Gods word to counsel you and take in all of His word. If you are doing this, or on pace to do so, keep the course.
