Im Set to Join My LORD

Acts 21:13 Then Paul answered, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

Oh, this is good.  Emotions and feelings are real and we all have them but we are not to be led by them.  Let's keep the simple facts before us!  The Holy Spirit revealed to some what was in store for Paul, tried to persuade him not to go to Jerusalem.  Some, not most, use tears to manipulate.  When Melissa and I were set to leave Missouri and come to Mississippi, some family members didn't take it well.  Nothing extreme but the questioning of why leave far away when churches are needed close by also.
Paul said, Im not only ready to be bound but die for Jesus, his LORD!  Only a close relationship and Communion could bring one here.  There are martyrs in every religion, well many, but this is a love for Jesus that nothing will stop or detour.  LORD, may I keep you before me like this today.  Nothing else but You!  Not turning to the left or the right.

The privilege of following Jesus does at times require sacrifice on our part; but the joy of belonging to Him and being obedient is worth the price. Relationship with the Father, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is precious beyond words.

Obedience is everything!! Do you REALLY want to be used by God in whatever way He wants to use you?? You have to lay down your desires, sometimes your comforts, and simply be obedient. An open, willing vessel is what He is able to use.

The cross before me, the world behind me. No turning back.
