LORD stood by me
Acts 23:11 But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”
It really doesn't get better than this. In a time of Pauls life being threatened, the LORD stood by him. Really, what demon could ever win if God stands for you? The LORD wasn't just verbally with Paul, He was physically for Paul and in the heavens, stood for him. Who is Paul, or us, that God would stand? What an amazing God we are coming to know day by day. I want to know more about Him. Cheer up Paul, I'm using you to testify of Me in Jerusalem, but you are heading to Rome! This guy named Nero, he needs to hear about Me. He is kind of influencing the whole world right now, burning down most of Rome, for selfish reasons. He needs Jesus in a great way. Paul, Im giving you this mission. Man, what favor Paul had. LORD, maybe I wont get to proclaim you to the president, as Billy Graham did, but send me to whomever You desire, I will go for You! Oh, and that word MUST, is a promise that Paul would get to Rome.
