Jesus Came According to the Scriptures

Romans 1:1 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God 2 which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

Paul is a slave by choice to Jesus Christ.  His life was separated unto Jesus and the gospel.  Jesus didn't just show up one day, declare He was God.  He showed up right on time, when the word of God spoke He would, how He would, why He would.  He came through the line of David.  That narrows who is qualified right? He had to be born in Bethleham.  He must be born of a virgin.  He had to proclaim the acceptable day of the LORD.  He had to be beaten, mocked, humiliated, crucified, before this death penalty was even invented.  He had to be rejected by His own.  He had to be buried in a tomb never used before.  He had to be resurrected from the dead the 3rd day.  327 exact prophecies had to happen as the word of God said they would, with precision and zero room for error.  The odds of just fulfilling 8 are astronomical.  Jesus fulfilled all 327 to the very detail, according to the scriptures.
LORD, thank You for separating me unto the gospel.  All this life You have graciously given me, is because of You, for You, by You.  LORD, forgive me if and when I ever make things about me.  My old man is dead and gone, the new life I have, is from You.

Absolute surety that Jesus is exactly who He said He is. Proclaimed from the beginning and reigning with the Father! So thankful for a separated life, a life dwelling in the Presence and direction of the Lord. Paul said it well. He must increase, and I must decrease.
