Reveal Your Word to us today
Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
God is our provider and sustainer. We are to pray to our Father, in heaven, to feed us daily, a fresh bread daily. I know its very easy for us, whom have tasted of Gods goodness and provision in the past, to want to live off it. We should be grateful for those times yet resist the urge to always look back. We must look forward to our present need and allow God to provide daily our need. This takes trust and dependence. That's why we are to pray for God to supply for todays needs.
I take this to mean many things but most importantly is a fresh, living word of God from the Bread of Life Himself. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
LORD, speak to me today please. I need to hear Your voice today, hopefully multiple times. For Your peoples sake, for my families sake, for my sake, speak for Your child is listening.
