Deliver Us From evil
Matthew 6:13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
This is a very interesting part of this prayer. Of course God never leads us into temptations at all. This prayer is for our benefit to focus us on Who is good and who it is that tempts us. Focus me LORD, to see You correctly. Lead me away from temptation as my Shepherd. Save me from the evil one. May I never stray from You LORD. Keep me on the path of righteousness all of my days. Keep my family on this path as well.
