You Cant Serve Two Masters
Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Many hard working people have multiple jobs, serving multiple bosses. This is not what Jesus is alluding to. He is stating the point that man cannot serve God and Satan. Since God is the creator of all things and Satan is a created being, an angel who is puffed up deceiving men into thinking he is something more than a roach, no offense to roaches.
The god of this age, this world, is Satan. He demands us to serve him as slaves. he offers morals of bread in exchange for your soul.
God requires from us also, for us to give him all of our hearts, minds, souls, & strength. He doesn't want part, He wants all.
You must choose whom you will serve. Will you choose Jesus, whom gave up all for you? Or do you choose Satan, who gave up all because of his pride and cant do anything for you, as if he ever could desire too. He seeks to kill, steal, & destroy you. You must choose, one master! Jesus said, you cant serve both! They are mutually exclusive. One leads into Eternal Life the other eternal damnation.

Choose this day whom you will serve. Our relationship with our loving Father needs to be fresh every day. It's wonderful to make the initial choice to serve God, but each day brings new challenges, temptations, and decisions. Each day is a choice to delight in the Lord and adhere to His ways and His will.
I love that fine detail, choose you THIS day. Everyday is a new day. Today, I choose Jesus.
