God of Action
Matthew 9:35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Jesus, God in the flesh, was active. He taught in their synagogues. How cool was that? To have God teaching Gods word in a building made by man. I remember staying in a house that generals and high ranking officers could stay once. Building 34 at Pensacola Naval Air Station. My dad somehow was able to secure it for our stay over there. The president actually stayed there at one time. But if building 34 brought that much clout, how much more the places Jesus would go? I stepped foot in a 1st century synagogue in Magdela that Jesus taught in, that was so much greater! Everywhere, everyone, everything Jesus did brought action. God is a God of actions. He does what He says. When in His presence, there is no false hopes of wishful thinking. We see hope of earnest expectations. When He taught, the words were so superior than any other words ever spoken by any and all men. When He healed, He shattered any limitations men placed on diseased people. He brought life to an earth of death! He spoke of a kingdom so amazing, it cant be related to by this present age. Everything Jesus did, moved man forward. Sparked hope. Brought life. When Jesus is present, things get done. LORD, set my agenda today. LORD, move upon me by Your Spirit and may things get done today Your way.
